The Cost of Weather

With the official start of summer fast approaching on June 21st, I find myself reflecting back on the volatile weather patterns we’ve experienced so far this year, and how this may affect our finances. Where I live, we had such unusual amounts of rain and strong winds that the gusts were blowing over trees. Did you know it costs anywhere from $500 – $2000 to remove a tree? That’s a good chunk of money that could go toward paying off some debt or saving for a summer vacation. It’s no wonder why people are tightening their belts in light of all this fluctuating weather and the resulting damage people are tightening their belts.

I’m interested in hearing your views on this, how you and perhaps your family cope with the relentless uncertainty of the weather. In the meantime, let’s weather the storm together, stay safe in all climates, and enjoy the warmth that is headed our way.
