Do you often feel isolated, alone, out of sorts with other people and can’t figure out why?
Working in a group with other people can help you feel connected, important and valued by others. It provides an opportunity to learn how you come across to other people, how to deal with both positive and negative feedback and how to effectively assert your own needs with other people.
Group therapy is best done in the context of an on going individual therapy relationship (not necessarily with me). Sometimes issues surface in the group that need individual attention and are best discussed in individual therapy. A confidentiality agreement is signed by all members of the group.
